In 2001, Professor Margaret Jacob (University of California Los Angeles) and Professor Wijnand Mijnhardt (University of Utrecht) founded the UCLA-Utrecht Exchange Program, with the broad objectives of promoting cooperation in teaching and research, facilitating the international exchange of ideas, and enhancing the scholarly efforts of participating faculty and students at the partner institutions.
